NEET 2026 Registration Date and Application Timeline

Number of Expected Seats
With the approval of 10,650 additional seats and 41 new medical colleges by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the overall number of MBBS seats in India has been increased to nearly 1,37,600 for the year 2024-25.

Policies of Reservation:
Generally, the NEET 2025 reservation system would be bifurcated into two main quotas mentioned below:
1. 15% Seats: All India Quota (AIQ) Under the AIQ, students who are nationals of India, including the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) can vie for these seats at government medical and dental colleges across India. The following is the distribution of reservation for these AIQ seats:
