Filling out the JEE main application form may seem like a simple process, but even a small mistake can lead to trouble later. Every year students lose opportunities because of incorrect details, missing documents, or last –minutes errors.

Entering incorrect personal details:

At the time of filling in their details in JEE mains form many students type their name, parents names, or date of birth differently from their official documents.

Make sure to match your details to your official documents, even a small mismatch can create big problem later.

Ignoring the Eligibility criteria:

Students fill out the JEE mains form without knowing the eligibility regulations.

First you need to know;

The age of candidates must be matched with the age criteria as per the official website of NTA.
Number attempts, how many attempts you have already used, because there is a fixed limit.

Using the wrong photograph or signature:

At the time of uploading photograph and signature, students upload blurry or dark photographs, incorrect size or background ,signature in capital letters.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has strict guidelines for photo and signature uploads . read the NTA guidelines carefully, use clear, recent passport size photograph with a white background, and sign on white paper using a black or blue pen.

Entering an incorrect category or disability information:

While entering the category students sometime choose the wrong category by mistake which will creat problem in future.

Make sure to choose correct category as per your valid certificate.

Make sure your certificate is upload and accept by NTA.

Ensure your certificate should be up to date, submitting an outdated certificate can lead to issues.

Selecting the wrong exam city or centre:

When filling out the JEE mains application form, you will get the option to choose your preferred exam city or centre.

Some students choose faraway exam centres without checking availability or travel convenience. This can be exam day stress while travelling.

Make sure to select exam cities close to your home, always keep two to three nearby city options ready.

Remember that , NTA allocates centres on a first come, first served basis.

Mistake in Academic Details:

Students get confused during form filling with the option “Passed” or “Appearing”. It become a problem to them.

Let me clear this to you;

Students who are in class 12 need to choose “Appearing”.
Those who have completed class 12 but are giving improvement exam also click on “Appearing”.
Students who have already passed class 12 with 75% or more must choose “Passed”.

Also, ensure to fill correct roll number, passing year, school name, etc.
