Hello Dear Friends,

‘The time of reckoning has finally come. This was going to come, so let us welcome it with full vigour & enthusiasm’

We know lots of students are confused whether to opt for Pen and paper based examination (OFFLINE mode) or Computer based examination (ONLINE mode) for JEE MAINS-2014.

There should be no problem in either of the formats of exam. It depends upon your comfort.

Pen and paper based examination (Offline mode)-

If you are non-Delhi student and want to opt for pen and paper based examination (offline mode), then you can take it offline in your city or nearest city/town.

If you are a Delhi student and want to opt for pen and paper based examination (offline mode), it’s the first time JEE has announced offline centres in NCT Delhi (Information available at page no. 34 in the pdf available at http://jeemain.nic.in/jeemainapp/pdf/JEE_Main_bulletin%202014_1411_1.pdf).

So, you do not have to go to Gurgaon or Faridabad this year to appear in the offline exam.

Computer based examination (Online mode)-

If you feel comfortable to take computer based examination (online mode), then there are close to 250 centres around the country. You can choose Delhi centres as well as outside Delhi centres (if you are a non-Delhi student).

So in our opinion, you yourself be a better judge and take a decision. You are well equipped for taking any option.

From December onwards, you can give all VMC JEE MAINS online in same format as actual JEE MAINS and we are also preparing a CD of last year’s AIEEE papers in the same format.

So take the final decision with calmness.

CHEERS

All the best!!!

VMC TEAM
