Refund Policy
Important Points About Refund Policy
- Refund applications will be accepted ONLY in cases of change of stream, medical
reasons,
transfer/change of residence etc.
- VMC will follow its standard protocols to gauge the genuineness and authenticity of the reasons
raised by a
parent for seeking withdrawal. Hence it is compulsory for a parent to submit proofs of all
reasons cited in the
withdrawal request. Also, VMC will contact and clarify any information published in the
documents submitted from
the parent and/or the authority which has published the documents.
- Student/Parent applying for refund has to submit a written application mentioning the exact
reason(s) of
withdrawal at the centre where the student is studying. Refund requests made verbally or through
phone/SMS shall
not be entertained in any cases.
- The date of submission of application will be considered as the last studying day of the student
and not the day
on which the student stopped coming to the Institute for classes.
- There will be a meeting of the student & parent with the centre staff after the withdrawal
application is
received. It is compulsory to attend this meeting and complete the necessary formalities to
process the refund
application. In some cases, multiple meetings might have to be set up as a follow up to the
above meeting.
- The date of commencement of Course will be considered as the starting date of the Course & not
the joining date
of the student in the Institute for calculating the refund.
- The refund rules are universal even
- If the student joins Late.
- If the student doesn't attend even a single class after depositing the fee.
- Refund cheque (if any) will be made in the name of the student/either of the Parent only.
- VMC management reserves the right to reject any refund application without any reason,
whatsoever.
- The entire refund process includes several Centre level, HO Level and Accounting process. Hence
it takes around
45 to 60 days to process the Refund (if any).
- If the fee is refunded through a finance company, the responsibility for repaying the loan rests
with the
parent, and it is expected to be done in a timely manner.
- If a student who has availed a finance loan opts for a refund from the course, the subvention
charges (approx.
10%) will be the responsibility of the parent or student.
- Additionally the charges for the two T-Shirts (₹3000/-) and one Bag (₹1800/-) will be deducted
from the already
paid fee (excluding GST).
- In the Case of a dropout - any applied scholarship / additional benefits will be nullified and
refund
calculations will be based on the base fees.
Important Points to Note
-
Please note that VMC reserves the right to expel a student from the class, if we feel that the
student is not
working hard, creating indiscipline, using unfair means in tests or absent for more than two
weeks without prior
information. In certain extreme circumstances this may even lead to termination of the student
from VMC. No fee
or part of the fee will be refunded in such cases. The decision of VMC Authorities in this
regard will be final
and binding on the students & parents.
-
We expect a decent behaviour from the parents & students during any interaction with teaching as
well as
non-teaching staff of VMC. Any parent/student found misbehaving with any of our staff at the
Institute might
lead to the termination of the student from VMC.
-
Please understand that the student fee is needed to be paid on time and VMC cannot keep
reminding the
student/parent for the fee. It is the duty of the parent/student to ensure that sufficient
balance is present in
their bank account on the due date of installment. Please don’t expect reminders from VMC
regarding this. Please
note that if a student fails to pay the fee by the end of the month of due installment
date/month, the name of
the student might be struck-off from the roll-list. If this happens then the student will have
to pay
re-admission fees.
-
Please understand that non-clearance of any of the Post Dated Cheque(s), submitted towards fee
installment (as
mentioned in the selection letter) is liable for Legal Action. In such cases, the student will
have to pay
₹1000/- (+GST) fine along with the amount of the installment.
-
If the student has enrolled in any course of VMC at any time then VMC has the right to publicize
the result of
the students as VMC may deem fit. In order to be eligible for the reward provided by VMC on the
basis of JEE and
NEET result, the student must submit their admit cards to their respective Centre In-charge as
soon as they
receive them.
-
Please note that change of Batch or Teacher is a very difficult process as it is dependent on
several factors.
Hence a student/parents’ request for change of Batch or Teacher might not be processed
immediately. However, we
will try to accommodate all the genuine requests in the best possible manner at the earliest.
-
Facilitation, Transfer and re-admission charges are non-refundable.
-
All disputes will be resolved in jurisdiction of Delhi.
-
For Early Joiners Through VIQ / VINIT 2025
Students attending complimentary classes will not be charged if they continue with the
regular classroom course. However, if a student opts to withdraw before the main course
begins, a deduction of ₹10,000 will apply.
Please note that by completing this form and providing the necessary information for the admission,
students enrolling
in
Vidyamandir Classes will be recognized as registered participants and a part of Vidyamandir Classes.
Important points about Refund Calculation
-
The refund amount will be calculated based on the course/base fees, excluding GST or any other
taxes. If a
student has received a scholarship, the refund will be calculated according to the amounts
(without scholarship)
specified in the refund table. This means that the quarterly charges and other fees will not be
proportionally
reduced based on the scholarship when calculating the refund. In the event of a dropout, any
scholarships or
additional benefits will be voided, and the refund will be based on the full base fees, as
though no scholarship
or benefits had been awarded.
-
Entire Course Fee is divided into Admission / Administrative Fee and Advance Fee. Admission /
Administrative Fee
written on various VMC forms is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. Advance Fee is divided into quarterly
fees and First*
Month Fee.
-
a. If the student withdraws before the start of the initial month then
Admission/Administrative
Fees (+GST) + Tshirt Charges (if given) + Bag Charges (if given) will be deducted from
total
paid fees.
-
b. If the student withdraws within the first* month of the start of the
Course
then Admission /
Administrative Fee* + First* Month Fee* (+ GST) + T-Shirts Charges + Bag Charges will be
deducted from the Total
Paid Fees.
-
c. If the student withdraws after the initial month then Admission /
Administrative Fee +
First* Month Fee + Total Completed Quarters Charge (including the Quarter during which
the
application was
submitted) (+ GST) + T-Shirts Charges + Bag Charges will be deducted from the Total Paid
Fees.
-
Quarterly fee will be deducted for the quarter in which the application is submitted
irrespective of the fact
that the application is received on the first or the last day of the Quarter.
-
Please take admission in VMC, only when you are fully satisfied with all the systems at VMC. A
lot of resources
are procured in advance for the students who are taking/have taken admission. Student/Parents
must realize that
a student who leaves after taking admission, disturbs the remaining system and hence withdrawal
is strongly
discouraged.
-
The charges for the two T-Shirts (₹3000/-) and one Bag (₹1800/-) will be deducted from the
already paid fee
(excluding GST).
*First month means April month of every year irrespective of commencement of classes.
